Was the first customer in on Saturday morning. Picked up a Rosemary baguette for $5. It seemed a bit soft and cold, so I asked the clerk if it had just been baked and she said it was. I should have been more wary and trusted my instincts. No way this was baked today. Not a bad idea to sell yesterday's bread, but call it what it is. AND IT'S NOT WORTH $5!!! I was previously very impressed with this bakery, and I may return when I hear the business practices are as good as the bread.
HOW IS LIFE? COMING TO GRANMA'S BB. SUNDAY,JULY 22, IN STE ANNE AT THE BANQUET HALL... WILL SEE YOU THERE THE 4 OF U. SAV,SHERBROOKE,CANADA
Below average quality and deceptive business practices. Not all products made fresh such as the croissants which are supplied frozen and baked on their premises. Questionable environment for selling of food products with pigeon freely roam inside and out of bakery. Also there a lot of rats at the back of this location.
It's funny what people wright on the Internet, pigeons, rats, frozen croissants??
That's why chef Kevin went to work in Paris. You would never see frozen croissants in his place. Everything there is made from scratch. And as for rats in the back, you should go back there, it's got a new bike track and the city just opened it. It's georgeous.
Duck confit sandwich is delicious as is everything else !!
